Joe Hadlock is a musician/producer/composer now living in San Pancho who has worked for 40 years in the music and recording business. He designed and built the now famous Bear Creek Recording Studio on a farm near Seattle in the late 70’s where he worked with many artists including Eric Clapton, Lionell Ritchie, The Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, James Brown, Heart, Bill Frisell, The Seattle Symphony, and many more. Joe’s son and partner, Ryan Hadlock who has brought groups to record in San Pancho, is now running Bear Creek and was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2011 for producing the #1 album for the The Lumineers. Joe produced many records and composed tv and film soundtracks as well as designed and built recording studios in London, New York, and Seattle.
Joe returns to the Music Festival after appearing in previous years and continues to work on fundraising events in San Pancho. He is currently working with The Krasiva Violin Duo and Assel Bainazarova from St. Petersburg Russia, movie soundtracks, and on special recording projects internationally.
